Stanley Apothecary Compounding Pharmacy originates from the old Stanley Drugs corner drugstore in the Elizabeth neighborhood. Stanley Drugs has long been a staple of the Charlotte community. Whether one wanted a prescription filled or a milkshake from the pharmacy's soda fountain, many Charlotteans have fond memories of this Charlotte landmark. In the early 1980's, then owner Cliff Hemingway-RPh, began to offer compounding services in addition to traditional commercial retail medications. Then in the late 1990's, Mr. Hemingway sold his retail pharmacy business and began Stanley Apothecary - Charlotte's state-of-the-art compounding only pharmacy.

Today, Stanley Apothecary Compounding Pharmacy services not only the Greater Charlotte area, but also the majority of North Carolina and South Carolina. Douglas R. Yoch - PharmD continues the tradition of quality compounded prescriptions and the highest level of customer service. Doug earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of South Carolina in 2001. Outside of his passion for his business, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife Jamie and two daughters. His hobbies including running, playing tennis, grilling out and watching Carolina Panthers football!

Betsy Stone has worked at Stanley Apothecary Compounding Pharmacy since May 2005 and is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Betsy has an extensive pharmacy and animal care background. Betsy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and has a strong passion for animals.

Duane C. Yoch-PhD
Special Services
Dr. Yoch is a retired Professor of Microbiology at the University of South Carolina. Duane manages our clean room monitoring program, assuring the cleanliness of our clean room facilities. Dr. Yoch also functions as a liason between our pharmacy and physicians, veterinarians and other pharmacists. Dr. Yoch enjoys spending time with his wife, 5 granddaughters, and traveling.
